General LPNA Meeting (All Laurel Park Residents Invited)

Put Monday, March 9th on your calendar for the general neighborhood meeting at Tamiami Tap (711 S. Osprey Ave).

Come hear about the latest going on with the neighborhood.  A range of topics will be discussed, both city-wide and Laurel Park specific, including updates on:

• Oak Street resurfacing,
• Benderson County Building project,
• Alderman Oaks rezoning commission vote,
• 307 S. Orange Ave construction,
• Hudson Bayou dredging.

In addition, we’ve invited all the candidates for the city commission race to speak.  As of right now the following individuals have entered the race:

• Jen Ahearn-Koch,
• Flo Entler,
• John Harshman,
• Rob Rominiecki.

You get to vote for 2 of the candidates.

We will also elect new neighborhood board members at the meeting (see below).  It’s also a great opportunity to catch up with neighbors.

Doors will open at 5 pm, and the meeting will begin at 6 pm.  Lite bites will be served prior to the start of the meeting.
