Disaster Preparedness Survey

The Florida Department of Health in Sarasota County (DOH-Sarasota), with assistance from the Health Planning Council of Southwest Florida, is conducting a community survey to determine the disaster preparedness needs of persons living in Sarasota County.

Your answers to this survey will help the county to identify those needs so plans can be made to address them.

Register for Evacuation Assistance

A Registry of People with Special Needs is maintained by Sarasota County Emergency Management. If you are unable to respond independently to an emergency situation and have no other means of assistance, should you be required to evacuate your home, then you should register.
