Light Up Laurel Park

We are excited to invite you to enjoy this special event with your family and friends in our amazing neighborhood! Here is how we plan to light up our streets – it’s about YOU!

• First and foremost – Social distancing will be observed with a smile and 6+ feet distance. Stay safe!
• Decorate your homes with white lights, positive messages, ribbons, balloons, banners and posters (have the kids and grandkids contribute with their own art on poster board)
• Get creative!
• Wear brightly colored clothes, fun hats
• Everyone turns their lights on at dusk
• If you don’t have lights to hang or are not handy with stringing lights – TURN your lights on in your street facing rooms in your house and turn your porch lights ON! Easy peasy!
• Set up a table and chairs outside your home in driveway or sidewalk and put out your own food and drink
• Say “Hi!” to your neighbors, introduce yourself!
• Stroll the neighborhood to view the lights and decorations
• We encourage musicians in the neighborhood to play live music (outside, on their property).
• Play fun music on your bluetooth speakers outside. We are putting together a play list on Spotify that we can share (or just play what you like!)
