Laurel Park Helps

Dan Bridinger led a team of of 17 volunteers from Laurel Park who assembled 5,833 meals at All Faiths Foodbank on Saturday, March 12.

Laurel Park has collected $425.00 to date for the homeless. The donations go towards the Salvation Army, Resurrection House and All Faiths Food Bank.

This effort on the part of our community to help the homeless and those in need of food is an ongoing initiative, with Laurel Park Volunteer days held once a quarter. If you are interested in participating, please contact Dan via email or phone at (941) 544-5175.

If you aren’t up to hefting and sorting 40-lb packages of meat, but want to help, please bring packaged or canned goods to the next Tunes in the Park on April 16th; Dan will supply a donation box at the event.
